L’Espresso
Established as a choice destination for English Afternoon Tea, L’Espresso is a cosy café by day and a chic lounge by night, complete with a breezy poolside terrace area. This spacious and breezy terrace has also become an ideal location for wedding solemnizations.
Since the 1970s, the English Afternoon Tea has earned a reputation for L’Espresso as the “place for elegant teatime pursuits”. The buffet spread is a dazzling assortment of dainty sandwiches, salads, savouries, pastries, desserts, chocolate fountain and of course, traditional English scones.
Guests can also enjoy delightful set lunch and dinner menus, as well as gourmet dim sum and sensational cocktails in the evenings.
L’Espresso is one of the few hotel establishments which offer live entertainment in the afternoons and evenings. Guests are serenaded by a wide repertoire of piano pieces performed live by an accomplished pianist from 2.15pm to 5pm daily, and are entertained by jazz and pop tunes in 6 sets performed by a 3-piece band comprising of a pianist, violinist and bassist on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays from 8.15pm.

Entertainment
Goodwood Park Hotel is pleased to present Rainbow Connection at L’Espresso! Be entertained by the jazz and pop tunes of this talented 3-piece band comprising of a pianist, violinist and bassist. Rainbow Connection is a promising new band, recently formed in January this year because the members’ shared beliefs and values in music.
Catch them every Thursday, Friday and Saturday at the following times! 8.15pm – 9pm, 9.15pm – 10pm, 10.15pm – 11pm
Band Profile
Name of Pianist : Serene Chew started playing as a pianist in 1998 when she was 33 years old. She has had experience in performing at various hotels in Singapore, and is also a piano teacher with Yamaha Music School.
Name of Violinist : Tian Rong has played the violin since she was just 8 years old. A recent NUS graduate, she is currently a violin teacher with Cristofori Music School. She has also performed at various hotels in Singapore
Name of Bassist : Salam started playing bass in 1984 and has had experience in playing at hotels in Singapore. Like his band members, his favourite is Jazz and Pop music.
